Black Pearl Cake (Wasabi & Ginger)

During my recent trip into the wonderful world of Wasabi ice cream, I stumbled upon this recipe for chocolate cake with ginger, wasabi, and black sesame! I'm a sucker for desserts with unusual flavors, so this cake, which was created by Katrina Markoff, CEO of Vosges Haut-Chocolat, is right up my alley. I can't wait to try it! oh my GOD that sounds so good. i never thought of ginger and wasabi going together along with chocolate cake, at least not both flavors at once! thanks for posting this.

I haven't bake a cake in a while, if only because I haven't encountered anything new that catches my fancy lately.

The flavors are so interesting in this cake! Love the name, too.
